Save time and money by using telemedicine for your non-emergency questions and concerns


Millbrook Equine’s telemedicine service is a convenient and inexpensive way to ask questions and get expert veterinary opinions on non-urgent cases.

How it works

Instead of incurring a call charge to have one of our vets visit your farm you can submit your questions or concerns through the Millbrook Equine telemedicine service below. You can include photos, descriptions of the issue, and anything else you’d like to tell us and we will respond with advice and treatment options.

How much does it cost?

It costs $30, which is lower than our normal call charges. You’re also never going to be asked to pay both the telemedicine consultation fee AND an in-person call charge for the same issue. If we need to visit your farm to provide care for an issue submitted through our telemedicine service we’ll credit that $25 back to your account.

When should I use telemedicine vs. in-person medicine?

If you have an emergency or a time sensitive issue of any kind you should contact our office immediately. One of our vets is on call 24/7 to make sure your horse gets the care it needs. If you are already working with a Millbrook Equine vet on an issue you should reach out to them for continued treatment on that issue.

For all other cases Millbrook Equine telemedicine is a great choice!

How long will responses take?

Submissions to the Millbrook Equine telemedicine service submitted Monday to Thursday during normal business hours can usually expect a response in 6 to 12 hours. Some requests (such as those made on Friday or over a weekend/holiday) can take up to 72 hours.
