Winslow B Stevens, DVM
Dr. Stevens was born and raised in central Florida. After a tour of duty with the U.S. Army, he attended Colorado State University where he earned a B.S. in Animal Science and an M.S. in Equine Reproductive Physiology. His masters degree research at the Equine Reproduction Laboratory at CSU was the preliminary work on Regumate and its efficacy in broodmares. Following graduation, he worked as the breeding manager for Pillar Stud, a large thoroughbred farm, in Lexington, Ky. He worked in Lexington for five years before being accepted to the College of Veterinary Medicine at Auburn University in Auburn, Alabama.
After veterinary school, Dr. Stevens spent one year at Rood and Riddle Equine Hospital in Lexington before moving to Millbrook in 1988. He became a partner at Millbrook Equine in 1990. Dr. Stevens' main areas of interest are broodmare and stallion reproduction, neonatology, and preventive medicine.

Michele L Ferraro, VMD
Dr. Ferraro is a 1988 graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and a 1984 graduate of Franklin and Marshall College. She is a certified International Veterinary Acupuncture Society (IVAS) acupuncturist and a member of the International Society of Equine Locomotor Pathology (ISELP- a group of veterinarians dedicated to advancing their knowledge about lameness and lameness diagnosis). Equine sports medicine and digital imaging have been areas of particular passion and expertise for the past 20 years, and she is currently advancing her expertise in postural rehabilitation. Dr. Ferraro also has broad experience and expertise in medicine and reproduction. Her personal interests include raising sheep, sheep dog trialing and training with border collies in addition to riding Leista, the Icelandic horse. She also enjoys traveling the nation and the world, hiking, contra dancing, and excellent food.

Cyra Noorani Erwin, DVM
Dr. Erwin joined Millbrook Equine in 2007. Originally from Marblehead, MA, Dr. Erwin discovered her affinity for all things equine at the age of nine, when she took her first riding lesson. She competed as a hunter/jumper and equitation rider, but also spent a lot of time on the ground working with horses as a show groom. She graduated from Duke University in 2000 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. She graduated from the Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University in 2006. Following graduation from veterinary school, she completed an internship at Mid-Atlantic Equine Medical Center in Ringoes, NJ. In July, 2007, Dr. Erwin came to Millbrook Equine. Her professional interests include sports medicine, diagnostic imaging, dentistry, and ophthalmology. Recently, Dr. Erwin joined the Board of Directors of the Northeast Association of Equine Practitioners. When not at work, she enjoys hiking, reading, cooking, and, most important, spending time with her family.

Miranda Gosselin, DVM
Dr. Gosselin grew up on a thoroughbred breeding farm in Buckley,
Washington. She spent her springs helping to foal out mares and her
summers cleaning stalls and grooming yearlings. When she graduated
from high school, she headed east to Smith College, where she obtained
a BA with a major in Neuroscience. After four years on the east
coast, Dr. Gosselin returned to Washington to attend Washington State
University College of Veterinary Medicine.
Focusing on equine medicine and surgery, Dr. Gosselin received the award of "Senior Student
Most Proficient in Large Animal Surgery." Since 2006, she has
completed the internship program at Brazos Valley Equine Hospital,
opened a successful solo equine ambulatory practice in Texas, and
acted as a regulatory veterinarian at Lone Star Park. Dr. Gosselin
joined Millbrook Equine and moved to New York in February of 2011.
While Dr. Gosselin is happy simply working with horses, her passion
lies in equine reproduction. When she is not working, Dr. Gosselin enjoys
traveling, skiing and the outdoors, and spending time with her husband
and son.

Johanna Kremberg, DVM
Dr. Kremberg grew up in Brunswick, Maine, riding horses at every opportunity. She majored in English Literature and Spanish at Middlebury College (Middlebury, Vermont), and played for the varsity lacrosse team. After her time in Vermont, she worked in botulinum research at Tufts University while she applied to veterinary school. In 2010, Dr. Kremberg graduated from the Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine and spent the following year in a rotating large animal internship at the University of Georgia. While at Ohio State, she received the "Excellence in Equine Surgery" award and was chosen as the 2009 AAEP/Hiscox Insurance scholarship recipient. Dr. Kremberg appreciates all aspects of equine practice and loves the beautiful scenery of Dutchess and Litchfield counties. Beyond work, Johanna enjoys time in the outdoors with her husband and hound dog as well as visiting friends and family in New York City. She continues to ride at every opportunity!
